On 30 January 1920 on the Hawaiian Census she is with her brother, William. Violet is listed as ‘Secretary’.  

In 1930 – 

She is on the 1930 Census in Honolulu. Her husband is listed as ‘Assistant Manager’. Violet is unlisted. There is a servant, Kikiya Takamoto from Japan.
