She is at 7 Montrose Avenue, Withington. Her sister, Emily, and a boarder, Annie Thorp (b. 1875), are listed as ‘Teacher (Day School)’. Florence is listed as ‘Blouse Machinist’. Her sister, Isabel, is listed as ‘Housekeeper’.

In 1911 –  

She is at Warrington, Penketh. Her father is listed as ‘Schoolmaster Elementary Day School’. Florence is listed as ‘Assistant Teacher’. Her mother and sister, Annie, are unlisted. Her brother, William, is listed as ‘Shed Foreman’. Her sister, Mary, is listed as ‘Music Student’.

Her sister, Isabel Gowthorpe (b. 1885), and her nephews, Alan Gowthorpe (b. 1914), Brian Gowthorpe (b. 1916) and John Gowthorpe (b. 1918), are unlisted. Florence is listed as ‘Elementary Schoolmistress’. 

In 1923 – 

She is on board the SS Montclare in 3rd Class. She is listed as ‘Teacher’. Her intended country of permanent residence is Canada.  

In 00/23 –

Is in the district of Edmonton, Alberta part of the Edmonton Education Committee. She can now understand most of the language of her 'interesting little pupils'.
