In 1871 – 

She is at Lowgate, Hull. Her father is listed as ‘Baker and Confectioner’. Her sister, Ann, is listed as ‘Assisting in Bakery’. Mary is listed as ‘Pupil Teacher’. Her mother and her siblings (Emma, Jane, Ada, William and Kate) are unlisted.

In 1891 – 

She is at Victoria Cottage, Hull. Mary and her cousin, Anna M Searson (b. 1867), are listed as ‘Drapers Assistant’. Her children (Percy, Wilfred, Mabel and Cyril) are unlisted. There are two servants, Mary J Shillings (b. 1867) and Clara Swift (b. 1869).

In 1901 – 

She is at 59 Lowgate, Hull. Sarah Barratt (b. 1827) is listed as ‘Draper’. Mary is listed as ‘Drapers Manageress’. Her son, Wilfred, is listed as ‘Clerk Sanitary Department’. Her children (Mabel and Cyril) are unlisted.

In 1911 – 

She is at 50 Gordon Street, Hull. Her husband is listed as ‘Outfitter Clothing’. Mary is listed as ‘Draper’. Her son, Wilfred, is listed as ‘Local Taxation License Officer’. Her daughter, Mabel, is listed as ‘Drapers Assistant’. Her son, Cyril, is listed as ‘Cycle Dealer’.

In 1921 – 

She is at 129 Woodstock Street, Hull. Her husband is listed as ‘Tailor and Outfitter’. Mary is listed as ‘Draper’. Her mother-in-law, Catherine Gray (b. 1831), is listed as ‘Retired’. 

Nothing more definitive found but possibly died 1937, Hull.
