She is at The Schools, Whitwell. Ellen is listed as ‘Certificated Teacher’. 

In 1891 – 

She is at Main Street, Whitwell. Amelia Johncock (b. 1854) [LDTC 1875] and Ellen are listed as ‘Certificated Teacher’. There is a servant, Alice Hind (b. 1878). 

In 10/98 –

In 1901 – 

She is at Firbeck Farm House, Whitwell. Her mother-in-law, Hester Elizabeth Jackson (b. 1825), is listed as ‘Farmer’. Ellen and her husband are unlisted.
