In 1871 – 

She is at Wheeley Road, Edgbaston. Her father is listed as ‘Commercial Traveller’. Matilda, her mother and siblings (Jennie, Ann, Emily and Margaret) are unlisted. There are two servants, Emily West (b. 1850) and Fanny Day (b. 1857).

Address is St. Luke's Girls' School, Kingston-on-Thames.

In 04/08 – 

A letter is published describing her journey to Western Australia to join the Sisters of the Church.

In 04/12 – 

Mentions that a letter was received (not published) from her and she is working at Children Home, Parkerville, Australia.

She is at Mill House Dulas, Longtown, Dore and Bredwardine. Edwin Mountford (b. 1871) is listed as ‘Retired Dentist’. Ellen Mountford (b. 1871) is unlisted. Matilda is now listed as ‘Madeline – Sister of Community’. Her sisters, Jessie and Emily, are listed as ‘Retired Teacher’.
