She is at Spencer Street, Lincoln. Her husband is listed as ‘Painter and Paper Hanger’. Mary is unlisted. 

In 1901 – 

She is at 9 Fenton Road, Blackpool. Her husband is listed as ‘House Painter’. Mary and her daughters (Ethel, Elsie and Violet) are unlisted. James Smith (b. 1856) is listed as lodger and ‘House Painter’. 

In 1911 – 

She is at 143 Adelphi Street, Preston. Mary and her daughter, Violet, are unlisted. Her daughter, Ethel, is listed as ‘Hosiery Knitter’. Her daughter, Elsie, is listed as ‘Dressmaking’. John Whitham (b. 1890) is listed as boarder and ‘Book Keeper’. 

In 1921 – 

She is at 22 Christian Road, Preston. Her husband is listed as ‘Painter and Decorator’. Mary is unlisted. Her daughters, Elsie and Violet, are listed as ‘Hosiery Finisher/Knitter Wool’
