In 1881 –

She is at Grammar School Road, Wrawby. Her father is listed as ‘Blacksmith’. Adelaide is listed as ‘Pupil Teacher’. Her mother and sister, Alice, are unlisted.

In 1891 –

She is at Melton Ross, Brigg. George Jewett (b. 1861) is listed as ‘Carpenter’. Theresa Jewett (b. 1862) and John Spalding Jewett (b. 1884) are unlisted. Adelaide is listed as boarder and ‘School Mistress’. 

In 1901 – 

She is at Park Street, Barlborough. Her mother is an unlisted widow. Adelaide and her sister, Alice, are listed as ‘Certficiated School Mistress’. Her husband is listed as ‘Coal Mine Draughtsman’. Her brother-in-law, Hubert Morgan (b. 1878), is listed as ‘Coal Mine Labourer Below Ground’. There is a boarder, Maria Cussons (b. 1878). 

In 04/05 – 

A letter she has written from British Columbia is published. 

In 1921 –

On the 1921 Census of Canada she is at 261 Dachampa Road, British Colombia. It is difficult to read Adelaide and her husband’s occupations.
