She is at Villa Road, Handsworth as a boarder. Annie Lloyd (b. 1842) is listed as ‘Fancy Draper’. Ada F Dean (b. 1871), a boarder, is listed as ‘Assistant Fancy Draper’. Ellen F Wilmot (b. 1845), a boarder, is listed as ‘Living on Own Means’. Gertrude is listed as boarder and ‘Elementary Schoolmistress’.

In 1901 – 

She is at 9 Marston Street, Oxford. Everyone in the house (apart from the servant) are listed as ‘Boarder of Sisterhood’. Charlotte C Mallam (b. 1852) and Alice Collins (b. 1845) are listed as ‘Certificated Schoolmistress’. Emily S Everett (b. 1863), Lilian Armstrong and Gertrude are listed as ‘Certificated Assistant Teacher’. There is a servant, Helen A L Hunt (b. 1884).
