She is at 7 Ubberley Road, Stoke upon Trent. Her father is listed as ‘Engineer at Iron Brass Foundry’. Alice, her mother and siblings (Annie, Lilly, John and Francis) are unlisted.

In 1891 – 

She is at Douglas Road, Sheffield. Alice is listed as ‘Trained Elementary Teacher’. There is a lodger, Annie Lodge (b. 1869), listed as ‘Trained Elementary Teacher’. 

In 1901 – 

She is at 148 Keelings Lane, Stoke upon Trent. Her mother is an unlisted widow. Alice is listed a ‘Elementary School Teacher’. Her sister, Lily, is listed as ‘Private School Teacher Certificated’. Her brother, Frank, is listed as ‘Engine Fitter’. Her cousin, Annie Stubbs (b. 1882), is listed as ‘Elementary School Teacher’. Her nephew, Ralph Lea (b. 1899), are unlisted.
