In 1881 – 

She is at Hamilton Place, Alford, Lincolnshire. Her uncle, William E Northey (b. 1842), is listed as ‘Schoolmaster’. Her aunt, Sarah Northey (b. 1849), and cousins, Sarah E Northey (b. 1879) and John H Northey (b. 1880), are unlisted. Elizabeth is listed as ‘Monitor in School’. Her brother, Samuel, is unlisted. 

In 1891 – 

She is at Winstanley Road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire as a lodger. William Belts (b. 1850) is listed as ‘Railway Signalman’. His wife, Mary Ann Belts (b. 1836), is unlisted. His daughter, Elizabeth Louisa Belts (b. 1874), is listed as ‘Dressmaker’. Elizabeth and Kate Charlton (b, 1867) [LDTC 1887] are is listed as ‘Certificated Teachers’. Her sister, Edith, is listed as ‘Pupil Teacher’.
